KARINE ROCHE
Hybrid Cycle
Spacers were originally developed for the oil industry as separators. In this work, they are reimagined as symbols of connection rather than division. Boundaries are not simply lines of separation; they become points of encounter and passage, suggesting that what appears to divide can also unite.
Organic forms emerge from an engineered material, blurring the boundaries between nature and industry, craft and manufacture.
