Animation creates bridges between the virtual world and the materiality of painting, in a here anchored to the physicality of the canvas and a digital elsewhere without grounding. It opens the way to new forms, compositions, and contrasts that enter the studio to lead my painting toward new paths.
Sounds attach themselves to the depicted places, becoming their auditory memory.
